The Second Day
On the second day our destination will be zigana, Sumela, karaca cave, sera Lake and hamsiköy . I’m sure these beautiful places will make you admire itself. What about these places, how are they ? let’s see ;
- Sumela monastery- Sumela Monastery is an Orthodox monastery dedicated to the Virgin Mary which is located at Mela mountain.
- Zigana Village – On the other hand, Zigana is represents a human being with clouds that are used as a ski resort by young people who are famous for their altitude every winter.
- Hamsiköy Village – Have you heard of the Sütlaç before ? this is only one of Turkey’s famous desserts, but hamsiköy rice pudding is an exquisite dessert with a completely different taste. You can even come from the other end of the world just for taste this dessert. Hamsiköy, on the other hand, is a charming village with a mis-like atmosphere full of greenery.
- Karaca Cave –Karaca Mağarası is known since ancient times, the entrance area was used as a natural shelter by ancient man. The area around the cave consists of 1000m thick andezitic and basaltic lavas, tufas and agglomerates. In between this volcanic rocks lie some small patches of sedimentary rocks of limestone and marl. The cave is located in such a patch of marble, which is heavily fractured.

On the seventh day, our tour will continue as hıdırnebi plateau and sera Lake.Hıdırnebi plateau located in Akçaabat district 1450-1500 m. at its height, it is one of the most important holiday destination and accommodation destinations sought and preferred in the Black Sea region with its natural beauty, Highland urban facilities made in 1998. On the Other Hand, Sera Lake is an important natural beauty of Trabzon and Akçaabat. 12 km to Trabzon. Akçaabat is located within the boundaries of the Star quarter 8 km away. Its length is 1200m. its width averages 150 m. the deepest place is 20 m. dir. Sera Lake is a landslide lake formed in 1950 by the closure of the front of sera Creek as a result of landslide on its slope. There are day-to-day recreational facilities for local and foreign visitors at the lakeside, which was declared a Natural Park in 2010 and has a public park arrangement, around which hiking, picnicking can be done.
